I don't know what I've been doing wrong. On the left are AG pods planted in my Harvest on October 15. The older, taller branches would start out green, but soon afterward they'd turn gray. And one of them, as you can see, is quite unhappy. (On the right is Johnny's "Teddy" dill, planted November 4, at which time I did an R&R) Can you help?

It’s been a number of years since I grew dill, but IIRC it can develop a gray tinge. How is the texture? Is it drying out at all?

It can gray as MaryL said. Watch out for browning or shriveling. I’ve had an issue with mine where it’s almost died. They didn’t like the AG nute levels while young. Once established they can handle the regular dose just fine though. (At least for the variety AG sent as far as handling full amount when older). I’ll monitor the Dill I’m growing now and see how it goes.

Yes the more mature stems dry out as they turn gray. Then I’ll see small or younger greener leaves starting, but then as they get taller they turn gray, too.
I will toss the AG pods and plant more Johnnys Teddy Dill after another R&R with low nute levels. Thank you everybody for your help

That's really unfortunate. I'm a total newb on aeros, im on my second dill grow and both have went well luckily. Wish i could give insight. I am interested in 'branching' out to other seed companies though.

I've found excess calcium can cause a metallic taste in dill. I layed off the mooch after that one grow. I'm not sure, but it may affect the taste of basil, too.

I typically use Growth Technology Ionic GROW. It is pH buffered so I found testing for pH and TDS wasn't necessary. The AG nutes work just as well, but they are more expensive. I really got into testing for both for a while. But it drove me crazy.

Thanks, everybody, for your help. Even though I did an R&R on November 4, I started another R&R.
Then I saw that the taproots on the AG pods were a brown goo. I've never seen that before. Wonder what caused that?
So I trashed the entire garden, sanitized the Harvest with bleach, and will post an update when/if I get up the courage to try dill again.

Check to make sure your pump is operating properly. I've seen that when the pump is accidentally unplugged for too long.

I had the same issue with my dill. It still grew healthy and tasted great, and it outgrew the basil and the mint by a good margin. I noticed when new shoots were sprouting they'd be the green color expected. Over time they seemed to grey like your picture, but not that early.
I used a PPM meter to track nutrients, checked the PH regularly, and did water replacements once per month or more.
By Day 124 (today) it was time to cut everything out, and either use the rest, freeze it or dry it (Mint, Dill, Basil, Rosemary, Parsley, Lavender), and my next grow is underway, and I'm giving dill another go.
When I broke the old dill down to reuse the basket, the thickness and toughness of the stalks surprised me. I think next time I'll allow fewer stalks to grow from the dill sprouts.
I had harvested the dill regularly (we got a lot, my wife made some great veggies, potatoes, and some great dips, using it).
I had kept the roots under control. I also had a tomato plant in there, and took it out early (about day 100) after getting about 16 small golden harvest tomatoes. I don't think having the tomatoes in there helped but I wanted to try.
I had an aerator pump as well. Not sure if it mattered or not one way or the other.
This round its all herbs. Dill, Parsley, Basil, Oregano, Sage, Rosemary, Thyme, Cilantro and Chives in a Bounty. I'll be watching the dill closely.
EDIT: In your picture it doesn't look like the other plants are doing well either, some not even growing while the dill is taking off. That suggests there is an issue somewhere in the chain of growth in general not just for dill.
