It almost seems to me that the phrases "growth spurt" and "basil" are synonymous.

These are toast. The parsley in the rear still looked good for a last harvest, but what prompted me to trash the whole thing is it had developed those little gnat things that are so annoying. I didn’t want the problem to get worse for an old garden, not worth it.  |

I really dislike those gnats. I have had to dump a project because of them. They need to stay outside where they were meant to be.
