Within hours of me posting the bud yesterday, it was opening. Here it is this morning opening up for the day and you can see another starting. But since I took this picture an hour ago, the back bud has started to open.
I need to get a GoPro on these for a time lapse.  |

2-3 per pod. I think I did three if I remember correctly and peaking at what is in the pods it looks like three. |

These are so pretty as they are in buds and blooms. The only thing I am not thrilled about is the blooms do not last that long. I guess that is why these are good as an outside plant around mailboxes and lamp posts. You plant many seeds and they continuously get buds but will also reseed as they die off.
I WILL be planting these around the mail box next year. Maybe people will stop letting their dogs urinate on it

This continues to bloom and bloom. This was taken yesterday. Today the blooms almost doubled I think.

What seed /vendor of Portulaca. I want to order these and start them as a hanging plant for summer. Top post says English Daisy, but I think the project was switched since then???!!

Yes, these are very colorful and while they say only one season, seeds will fall and they do come up again the following year.

I really need to try to get some pictures. My mom is over to help with everything (except my plants) and saw these. So she started collecting seeds while deadheading. I saw her doing it and had to stop her in her tracks.
I will do it and then give them to her in a jar. I also told her when she leaves she can take them with her to plant. It is the least I can do. This way she can enjoy and they wont get murdered LOL

The "murderer" attempted to do a hit.
I rolled in to check on my plant and they had the light block in front and was never opened. Every morning I go in to open it up and someone closes it. And my one Egg dried up.
Lets see if they listen to me this time.
I will get pics later when I roll around again.

She is so "Busy"....I think she has good intentions, though. What if you give her something to occupy her time so she doesnt wreck the projects?
