Hi.
I just planted my 'pods' for the first time ever. I'm new to all of this.
My kit came with 8 different herbs.
Can I expect unlimited growth and herbs or do they have a 'life cycle' and will only last a certain length of time?
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
You are going to love them. Some members let their herbs grown for months and months. Once they grow if you keep them harvested without going to seed they will last for quite a while. Other members (I am one of them) after several months will terminate them and grow more of the same or something different.
So life cycle is really up to you, how you care for your plants and what you want to do with them.
Please take a look around as there is a lot of information here. Also never shy away from asking questions. That is what we are here for. We learn and share what we know with others. I am always learning something new myself

Hi.
Thanks so much for the quick reply.
A follow up question.
How do I make sure the plants don't go to seed?

Just keep them trimmed down and remove any flowers you find.

I terminate mine after 3-4 months because they start to taste bitter to me. But as Shawn said, it’s a personal preference.
