it just came to mind that Butter Crunch is a sweeter variety which you can grow in the AG,grindre! You can find the seeds all over the internet and most likely on those kiosks at the supermarket.

This project is terminate. I made one last small salad last night and then broke the whole thing down for moving. Not sure if I will grow lettuces again or something else instead. I may move one of the tomato plants over into the Harvest then maybe grow some herbs this time. I'm just not sure with all this packing and moving and...

I keep forgetting to mention that Deer Tongue is a nasty tasting lettuce to me and I won't be growing it ever again. I bought some Buttercrunch lettuce seeds and they came in a couple days ago so I will be growing more lettuces in the Sprout. I like having a salad a couple of times a week or so.
I love Chinese cuisine and have a wok sitting on my stove top at all times. I'm not Asian but I do cook Chinese food about a dozen times a week so I want to grow some of the ingredients that the Chinese use in their recipes. Bok Choy being one and green onions is another. There is red bell peppers too.

 yup, that's me.  Actually, I had gotten two small leaves stuck to the sides of my dentures and didn't know it. After eating a salad I was experiencing a pretty nasty taste in my mouth for about an hour or so. I drank some milk and lemonade to wash it away but that horrible taste wouldn't go away. Maybe another hour or so went by and I decided to take my teeth out to see if I could find the issue and I saw the nasty dark green leaves stuck there. I studied them closely cuz I was growing another dark leafed plant too. It was the Deer Tongue. Yuk!

I did a bok choi grow, the leaves on mine got huge! But it tasted good, one day i got store bought just to compare and we couldnt tell a difference. I did 6 pods at once and that was too much for the two of us, not wanting it every single day.
