Since I never grow fruiting plants, and dismantle each garden (mostly lettuce) after 6 weeks or so, would you recommend R&R-ing, or just adding water and nutes as needed. I have a meter.

When the plants are mature and drink 3/4 of the tank up in a few days, I don;t bother to r&R, but just fill with 'nuted' water again.(don;t ask me how I make up these words ) Otherwise I feed 2 feedings and then do a r&r...but that is just me.

When I grow greens or herbs, I will just rinse really well and wipe out the bowl. Then refill as well.

With Tall Machines,I never rinse out the bowl, but I use a siphon to remove the water. I can't be bothered unplugging and carting the whole project over to the sink. I think the only ones I do a lift n' dump are the SS6 and the Sprout. My Harvest is sink side so it is easy for that.

If you are sanitizing between gardens, and they only last 6 weeks or so, I don't see why NOT doing an R&R for greens would be an issue? Especially if you are being successful in your gardens. For my last greens garden, I did not do any R&R (mostly because I forgot and was too busy and knew it was only gonna be going for 2 months max). It seemed to do fine. I think it also depends on how much nutes you are using? If you are using below the recommended amount, I doubt much would accumulate, but if you were doing other stuff...maybe. But even then, I cannot imagine delaying an R&R would be an issue.
