Lots of growing to look forward to. You also have a good outlook that there may be failures (although I hope all grow).
Radishes, will these be transplanted to dirt?

I was planning on pulling them up to sit on top of the basket as the roots grow. I figure since they mature so fast I'm not really missing out on a few weeks there if it bombs. It's in a Harvest unit with corn salad on the other half so I can plant more lettuce or something if I see in a week or two that it's just not going to work.

I love how fast some of them germinate! Definitely helps cultivate the excitement while the slower ones take their time. All of my lettuce, bok choi, chinese cabbage, kohlrabi, cucumber, snap peas, and radishes have germinated. So happy to see them grow!

Absolutely fantastic! Looking forward to watching this project. Don't forget to update us with pix as you go along.
I'm really interested in the radishes.

Now that’s what I call jumping in with both feet!
I’ve had my Bounty Basic up and running for about a week and a half, I’m sure it will get overcrowded soon, but I too bought 4 Harvests during the Christmas sales. All of the herbs in the Bounty are up and soon it will be time to thin them.
Since spinach seems to be an enigma for sprouting in an AG, I am trying to sprout some then add to one of the new Harvests..
We can learn together!

So Day 7 Spinach and corn salad are definitely going to be difficult, if they germinate at all. I swapped the spinach and radishes so that the spinach and corn salad are together in a little Harvest unit. Since they're cool weather plants, I've been leaving the light off on that unit hoping it'll stay cool enough to germinate and occasionally adding a couple of ice cubes to the water. I didn't have this idea until a couple of days ago though, so it might be too late. At the same time I also stuck a few spinach seeds in a plastic bag with a wet paper towel, stowed it away in a kitchen drawer, and of course am already seeing germination. One way or another, hopefully I'll get spinach. It might come from the grocery store after weeks of trying, but whatever! Also just noticed that the growlights on the lettuce half of my farm won't raise or lower at all, so I sent an email to Customer Service. It's a bummer, especially on such an expensive gadget, and I hope it's an easy part swap or something. I'd hate to have to disassemble and return the whole thing to get a working one... Anyway, here's the lettuce farm: Brassicas: I lovingly refer to the big bok choy in the middle as Bokki Boi, and a friend of mine joked that it's going to herald in the a bokalypse and take over my garden. It might! I like to think he has high aspirations. Big things: Now that the peas have sprouted, I have my iPad aimed at this farm in a timelapse app to see the growth during the day today. I know they grow fast, so I'm excited to see the little video of their progress tonight when I go to bed :> Tomatoes: Greens: Herbs: The thyme has also germinated and is just barely out of sight, but I'm glad he made it. I know cilantro takes a while, but I hope he makes it too. I use a ton of cilantro.

Sorry to hear about the lowering of the lights. AG will help you on your issue.
As for your gardens they look good!

I'm following your experiment with interest! Curious to see how you make out with the radishes and the peas.

Good news about the dead light hoist issue! Their customer service is totally bogged down with post-holiday madness, but I was finally able to get through by phone just now and they’re sending me a new hood.
I also noticed that one of my spinach seeds in the harvest unit has a root peeking out. I’m talking like 1mm, so I’m not holding my breath, but there is a possibility of spinach germination >.>

And I do have spinach germination! Three of the four seeds have roots coming out of the seeds now. I've kept the light mostly off on that harvest unit so the temperature there is about what my house is (68F). Here's hoping they keep it up!

roots come out the bottom and sides of the sponge, and the leaf or seedling peeps out of the hole at the top of the sponge...do you mean 'leaf' or 'seedling'. I can't imagine a root being visible before the leaf. Just wondering

I shone a light down the holes and saw roots coming out of the seeds, like the foot of a mollusk. No leaves yet

I took the label off so my camera would stop focusing on it, but there's a standard label there as well.
