Well crud, one of the main reasons I bought an aerogarden was to tend my plants for days at a time for vacations. We had a freak power outage this morning and while the backup generator kicked on like it is supposed to do, the Bounty Basic didn’t come back on with it. Grrr, short of plugging it into a UPS I don’t know any way to get around this. The Basic isn’t WIFI so I couldn’t turn it back on remotely.

Unfortunately, that can and does happen. I have machines from the harvest to the bounty Elite( old and new models). Some come back while others don't.. I too have a whole house generator and put my machines on a backup anyway. It csn be frustrating.

Have have machines in different areas. As of now I have 2 Harvests, 2 new Bounty Elites, 1 Older Bounty and a new Bounty. I have several machines not in use. I plan on planting more but I need to plan them out.

Grrr, short of plugging it into a UPS I don’t know any way to get around this. The Basic isn’t WIFI so I couldn’t turn it back on remotely. I use a battery back-up. I've put my 2 Sprouts on an old APC UPS 550 and it worked quite well. What I've found they do is keep electricity flowing via battery for about an hour. (AND that depends SOULY on the application.) My computer is on an old back-up as well and I can usually get to it to shut it down properly in about 5 minutes time. Most of the time the juice comes back on while I'm shutting down.
Here's a couple links. (Not necessarily where I bot them from.)
Hope this helps...

The power went, and my AG Farm XL did not reset to the correct number of days. Additionally, although both gardens were started at the same time, both now reflect a different number of days. Is there any way to correct this?

sriya, there is no way to reset the number of days on the Bounties and Harvests I have. I do not have a Farm.
Someone else should be able to give you a definite answer.

There is no way to reset the number of days on the Farm. I have complained to Aerogarden about it. They recently did a software update. I was sure they would fix it...but no.

Have you tried the App? Well there is a way to reset the number of days however depending on the number of days it can take some time. I have done it. You can find the instructions here
