I really like the Bamboo Shelf .. HOWEVER... I see flaws and that in itself stops me from getting one.
The bottom two shelves would never be able to have a large machine with the hood totally up. Maybe not even half as the heights are 14.5" and 18.5". Would be find for the Harvests and Sprouts as well as SS6. The electrical wires would easily be seen, would want them hidden. Lastly, how stable is it really?
Nice concept but I think it needs improvements.
FWIW ...These are just my opinions.

Funny...I was looking at the sales and was thinking of posting a question of does anyone have this? Thoughts? But then the same thoughts came to me...ok, well you can raise the hood all the way? Is it stable? essentially have to manage the cords. Imagine doing the R&R. I had at various times considered putting some AGs on some chrome shelves I have (still might) but then the issue of the goods and all that always comes up. My set up now on low bookshelves/cube units seems to be the best for me...for now. IF anyone does have one or similar, I'd love to hear their experiences.

Attachment DeletedSorry pic is blurry and turned 90 degrees for some re@son. Not sure why all the hate on this shelving unit works great for me. I live in a 700 square apartment. Space is a luxury for me so I needed a small footprint to house my sprout, harvest, and bounty units. Couldn’t be sturdier, and I do have it anchored to wall just in case. Even without it anchored you would have to deliberately try and knock this over. As for the units electrical, and I’m also running 2 air pumps with aquarium tubing with aeration stones in each of my units. My bounty has 2 air stones running. All of it can be hidden behind the back legs on the unit, and held with zip ties. Which I am doing and works well, all cords/tubing hidden. I have lettuce in sprout on top, mini cherry tomatoes in harvest, and 9 pods of cascading petunias in my bounty on the bottom. Bottom shelf will restrict the bounties maximum light height, but with petunias in it currently its a non factor. When I need maximum light height for growth on my bounty I will move it to the middle shelf and put the Harvest on the bottom. I also now have the 1 gallon water reservoir for the bounty as my petunias are very thirsty these days! Very happy with this setup and having tons of fun with it. Lettuce should have first harvest in 7-10 more days. It has noticeable growth daily! Course so do the petunias which are currently at 56 days, and i’m getting tons of flowers now. Makes my apartment smell like spring time! Other than the light height restrictions when using this shelving unit I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if I needed it. This is a 2 week old pic, the day I set it up. I will take another pic tomorrow and post trying to get the pic straight and in better focus👍 Chad

They do look nice. However I would only be using Bounty's and that is really not feasible. Plus with my pup I would not trust that it would fall or break etc. And the fact that even if I could ziptie wires I can not have them exposed even in the back.
Nice concept just just for me.

It looks great. It does appear the middle shelf would allow for some machines to get pretty high? I have never gotten my machine close to maximum height. The stability was my big question, which you have said it is quite sturdy. I agree for smaller places (I am also in an apt), space is a premium and having multiple AGs can present issues of where to put them. So, seems like a great idea over all. It seems to be an upgrade over the wall shelf mounts AG used to have several years ago! Seeing those made me nervous... Personally, to me, if I were to get one, I'd put the shelf right in front of my outlet, so the cords would behind it anyhow. Plus, I only ever have people over once in a blue moon, so do not really care THAT much about cords. Thanks for your thoughts!

My new Harvest will be here today. Eventually, I think I would like to have 3 Harvests, all devoted to flowers.
That shelf would be a beautiful place to display them. I also would put it right in front of an outlet. There is also a stud in the wall I could anchor it to.
Nice to dream about.

It really is a good shelving system. I couldn’t see it ever getting knocked over in normal living conditions, pets included. Even with it not anchored to the wall, it is very sturdy. You would have to try and knock it over. I do have mine in front of a wall outlet, and the middle and top shelves you can run the power cords behind the stands legs, and between the wall. With it anchored at the top, the cords and even tubing, if you chose to run aeration, will be hidden between the walls and the stand, a simple zip tie will keep it permanently in place. I might move my bounty to the middle shelve and put my Harvest on the bottom once I transplant my Petunia’s in the bounty to dirt. Going to try green pepper kit in my bounty next, and the middle shelf will grant the bounty the full height on the light(24 inches). The top shelf also has no light height restriction. But the top shelf isn’t wide enough to support the width of the bounty’s water bowl. Other than the top shelf’s width restriction, and the bottom shelf’s light height restriction, this is an awesome system, that assembles easily, and quickly. All in a 20 inch width footprint, which is great in living arrangements where wall space is at a premium!

Let me start by saying I am in no way discounting anyone who has this and loves it. I want to preface these are my opinions on it and why it would not work for ME.
With the middle shelf, the height is only 18.5". If you take a large machine, in reality the hood can only raise a total height of 11" (including the original lowest setting). For me, that is not very reasonable as I usually need more then 11" of space between the top of deck and the hood.
I see this a great option for Harvests and Sprouts .. and good for a large machine if you are only raising the hood a small amount.
As for it being sturdy, you have not seen my Lug of a Pup LOL. She would knock that over or at least bump it and move it for sure. She is only 5 months old, solid as a rock at 35lbs and still growing. If it were not for Piper and the height limits for a large unit I might have bought it for myself.
It would be something to think about for my harvests in the family room for flowers on each shelf if I did not have Piper (or when she is older and is not attacking everything). But it would have to be anchored and I would want to get something to cover the cords after they are attached to the back side of the unit.

Funnily enough, I actually have two of these now. Bought one, it arrived in a terribly destroyed box, so I emailed Aerogarden because it was ridiculous, and they sent me a whole new shelf.
Anyway. They seem sturdy to me, though I definitely have them in an out-of-the-way corner to keep my crazy dogs from running into them, because they would absolutely topple. Now that they're both set up, my husband is going to anchor them as well, because we have a very curious 3.5 year old, and I never underestimate her ability to knock things over. There are a few parts that seem a bit flimsy to me, so I was initially a bit hesitant putting my gardens on the shelves, but my husband is quite handy and I had him check it over. He feels it's stable. I also drew a line in pencil where some of the braces attach so I can check for shifting. So far, so good. I also do cardio workouts in my living room during the day, and we have a pier and beam foundation, so the house definitely shakes a bit. It hasn't been a problem for the shelves so far.
I did, however, want to note something about the shelf sizes. I believe what you're reading is actually the width of the shelf itself, not the height. There is a significantly more than 18.5 and 14.5 inches from shelf to shelf. That being said, it's not enough to fully extend the light hoods on my Bountys. I can extend each Bounty light hood approximately 18.5 inches. I'm new to Aerogarden, so I just planted my first herb and veggie gardens two weeks and a week ago, but I'm interested to see how it goes with the height of the plants. My hope is that I can prune judiciously and maintain a good height. We will see!
I do love the shelves, though.

I just relooked and I stand corrected ... I was looking at the width. The middle shelf is 24-3/4 space. That leave 17" from deck to total hood height. That is better then 11"

Still not enough to extend to full height, but definitely more space to work with!
Thanks! I've been perusing other gardens and getting ideas and I'm very excited!

Not sure what happened above was trying to reply to Shawn’s post and something went wrong....
This stand is definitely not for aerogardens bigger than a Harvest. I have my Bounty on the bottom only because I have AG’s Cascading Petunia’s in it. Don't need much more than 10 inch light height over the Bounty’s planting deck for them to grow to potential.
In the spring Petunia’s will get put in a hanging planter box with dirt and placed on my deck rails. Then peppers of some type will get planted in the Bounty and it will need to be moved off the AG shelving unit. Pretty sure I will buy a slim Harvest elite for growing Herbs of various types😁 for my bottom shelf.
One thing about this unit is the price tag of $75-$80. Unless you have to have the 20inch footprint due to space constraints, I’d buy something else unless you get it on sale like I did. I paid $50 between black friday and new years, but looking at Amazon there is cheaper/bigger alternatives.
Shawn your posts are always great and informative😁 Don’t think anyone in this thread thought otherwise. I didn’t.
