I had to remove the Thai basil. It is flowering and it was a constant battle to keep it from taking over the whole garden. Also the taste changed to awful when it started flowering.
I will pot it up and move it outdoors later to use by other plants as a deer deterrent.
The mint is a very compact, dense clump behind the curly parsley. I don't like its taste, either, but will try it in cooking and see how it works. I may remove it later, too.
Now the Italian parsley has room to grow.
So the herb garden is getting smaller, but more useful to me.

This is one of the cleanest and neatest gardens I have seen.
I do not know if you read this but they say never to pinch or trim off herbs or lettuce for at least two days after feeding. You will sometimes get a bitter taste from the uptake of nutes.

I replanted the basil, but they are growing very slowly.
Maybe because of the massive curly parsley roots!

It needs it. I am a little leery because I got too enthusiastic with the root trim and ended up with some sick plants in a previous garden.
Maybe I'll attempt it in stages.

Just do a little bit to clean it up. Then after several days if the plant is doing well wait a few more and trim a little more. You don't want to see how I trim mine. I go crazy LOL

I did a root trim, and while I was doing it, I noticed that the water didn't smell good. So I ended up harvesting all the Italian and curly parsley and putting it in the freezer. I had wanted to empty that Bounty, anyway, so that was a great excuse.
I washed the roots of the the chives and healthiest basil, then moved them to another Harvest, where my free tomato seeds from Renaissance that will go outdoors when they are big enough are.
I'm sanitizing the Bounty now, and will plant my Red Windowbox tomatoes this evening or tomorrow.
