After 6 weeks, I feel the Farm is just too much for my salad needs. I'm not using a lot of my greens. I have 10 pods planted in greens, 1 basil and 1 dill. What are you using for your salad gardens?

I like the Ultra and Bounty, plus I have another water culture non AG going. But my go--to for lettuce is the Tall machines. That is going to change to a Harvest added in a few weeks, though.

Thanks @cornne I was thinking the Harvest. I have an underutilized Harvest 360 and a Harvest that will be giving up it's cuttings at the next water change out.
I have a new empty Bounty basic, what do you recommend there? I wanted to try the Busy Bee Sunflower grow in that one.
Do you recommend the AG seed pod sets or something else?

OK...so i looked up 'Busy Bee Sunflower' and found the custom seeds on Burpee. The plant height is 48" and plants always grow taller in the AG. If you have a hood that goes up past 4.5 feet you'd be good.
I would never put it in a bounty. Rather, if I were to do a custom sunflower, I would do a Sunny Smile from Parkseed.
But why not choose a kit from the AG site? The Zinnia kit is very attractive as is any combo you choose from the custom kits!! They are sure to fit.
So many many choices!
also...BEWARE of the word 'DWARF when shopping custom. Here is a 'dwarf' sunflower at parkseed that goes up to 4 feet. Dwarf for outside, yes, but for AG-ing..a different thhing altogether!

Hi Jay, I use the Bounty and Ultras for my lettuce/greens. I eat A LOT of greens and often find that, at times, when they are start to mature, it can be a lot. So, I can imagine a Farm full of lettuce pods would be a lot to use. Although, I am just one person. I like the Bounty and Ultra for just about everything. I think the Harvest could also be a good machine for lettuce, depending on how much you use. I also find staggering lettuce can help split the difference between having some when you need it, but not having too much at once.

So... I think I will move my pepper cuttings to the Bounty and look at some of those ideas you gave me for flowers @cornne , I haven't dabbled in the custom section yet!

I have reached the same conclusion! I have all 12 spots in my Farm devoted to lettuce, and we can't keep up with it. I give my husband the evil eye if he doesn't make a salad for lunch. He's not eating his share! I am thinking that next time, I'll plant maybe half this much and plant bok choy in the other half. I am loving the baby bok choy.
