Does anyone else have major problems taking photos of the Aerogarden with a Cell Phone with the light on?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S8. I've had it some time. I've also had earlier Androids including HTC and other Galaxies.
When I try to take a photo of the AG with the light on, it's like looking through a window with blinds. Horizontal grey bands across the screen.

Mike, I don't take photos of the whole AG. I have to focus close jn on the deck below the hood, then the camera seems to adjust to the light better. I have an older, cheaper Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse.
Note: I just looked at my Bounty Herb Garden thread, and I see gray banding. I never even noticed it before. Just figured it was a shadow.

If you turn on your camera's flash and take a photo, do you still get the same problem?

I also have an S8 and when I get the "bands". It does not really bother me. What I do now is raise the hood temporarily and take at an angle. Still get some banding, but can see perfectly fine.
