I've got a aerogarden harvest, and am wanting to use a 23 hole cap to stay some seeds.
Whereas the original cap has a spout that sits into the pump outlet, the new one has no spout.
How does it circulate the water?

The pump and spout aerate the water which is circulated up into and out of the wells in each pod hole. But what the heck is a 23 hole cap for staying seeds??!!!?  This is the pump (minus the spout or NOZZLE(that comes with the machine) that fits onto the hole on the top) and I recall it being the replacement for several years now.These are for most machines, including the Harvests  If you are having trouble getting water to jet out of the pump, try turning the dial on the pump up a bit,but somehow I don't think my answer is rightly directed at what you are seeking.

Are you taking about the see starter tray?
If so, then I believe the spout to of the pump (the nozzle) come off. I will check again later. I do but have a see starter for my hardest but I believe the into is on the forum here. I will look when I get up later.
