Welcome, mojave! I am so happy to hear about your cilantro success!
It feels so good when you can grow your own favorite herbs, doesn't it?

Thanks everyone for the advises in this thread. I had zero success level with cilantro in my aerogarden previously, though most other herbs grew well. It seems that my seeds were the reason. So I sanded a dozen and put them to sprout in regular soil. One sprout on the 4th day, and it feels well after moving to the aerogarden. Just to note, 3 days passed and no other sprouts of that dozen in soil... ps: any ideas why the forum engine adds an iframe tag at the end of my post? I try to delete it but it appears again.

I myself find Burpee Cilantro Seeds grow best. Some I throw in as is, others I gently press to crack (but not break). These are hard seeds to grow.
As for your iframe issue, may I ask what you are trying to do or post? What browser are oyu using? Computer, tablet or phone? Can you post a picture of this tag? I have never seen it.

Watch this video , using this method I was able to germinate almost all the seeds I put in the paper towel+ziploc. Was shocked at how well they germinated, started growing roots through the paper towel. I used Livingston brand seeds instead of the brand of seeds from the video and plants are growing very well now, deep green and large leaves, love it!

I am going to have to try this method! I can't believe that he leaves three or four seedlings in each pod.

I am going to have to try this method! I can't believe that he leaves three or four seedlings in each pod. I think that I'll try that with parsley--sprouting, and then putting several seedlings in a pod. I don't really want to grow parsley to eat, but it annoys me that I've been unable to grow it successfully.

Thank you so much for the tip about using Burpee cilantro seeds. I have never gotten more than half my cilantro pods to sprout otherwise, but now using Burpee seeds I have 100% sprouted and looking good so far! I'm gonna have to try the Burpee cilantro seeds as well. I tried the napkin thing, then moved the sprouts to the sponges and I only had one lone cilantro plant survive.

Was able to get at least 75-80% germination success from some seed I got from Amazon last spring with the baggie method. Have moved 3 seeds per pod into a unit. Will update if they make it, has been two days and they are still alive. I did not let the tails get too long before I moved them, and was not sure if the tails should go up or down lol. I figure the sprout will know and sort itself out.

It looks like cilantro is is doing well. It took a couple of weeks, used the cut in half seeds soak in paper towel method. It has done well growing in potting mix using the Aerogarden 45 grow light. Theese have been doing well for almost three months now.
