When I started doing grow your own projects, I jumped in over my head, I think.
After trying things that didn't work, I have decided to slow down, and carefully study projects that have worked for others.
Although I terminated my horribly inappropriate bedding petunias, I can't bear to throw out my crazy dahlias. I am having some bacterial or fungal problems with them, but nothing out of control.
I did move the wildest dahlia to an outdoor container with no hardening off, expecting it to die. With our non-existent cold weather this year, the silly dahlia is thriving outdoors! I will probably move them all out there. Following the root trim, they are growing tubers.
My Kratky lipstick pepper is fighting fungal and bacterial problems. I think I'm going to lose it.
Can anyone recommend a thick walled, crisp, disease resistant pepper? Shawn, I am eying your Just Sweets. Have you had any disease problems with it?
I have an AG cascading petunias kit I will probably plant, although I am not feeling a lot of enthusiasm about it in light of the bedding petunia fail. I have decided to save my nano scarlet geraniums for this fall so they will bloom for Christmas.
Sorry for the ramble. Just trying to figure out a successful AG planting strategy.

I have been growing Sweet Heats for a couple years now and never had a problem. I have some seeds if you would like a few. Just PM me your full name and mailing info.
They do have some heat however. If you are ok with heat then these are really good.
