That's interesting. I don't know about the gardens, but I went shopping on Amazon for lettuce pods and found them all out of stock or priced at crazy amounts.
But on the AeroGarden site, I was able to place a custom order for lettuce. (I guess it remains to be seen whether that order will be promptly fulfilled.)
Thanks for the feedback. I also checked Amazon. They were out of the 2 models I am interested in. They did have a couple of Bounties, and 19 Stainless Harvest 360 Elites left.
Their manufacturing facilities are probably shut down for the Corona Virus like everywhere else. And Colorado is a more "Progressive" state, so they may not start up again for a while. I tried calling them because they sent me an incorrect seed kit, and the recording said they are working remotely from their homes so they are only handling cases by email. Even then, they never got back with me yet.

I spoke to my contact and they are still getting machines. There was a slow down after the holidays and then with the recent sales they had sold out. More supply will be coming soon.
I got my replacement Bounty Basic and seed kit very quickly after I sent my defective one back. It took me longer to get the defective one boxed up and shipped than it took to get the replacement.
I also got my pod kits comparatively quickly, it took a month to get them in January and about 10 days with my most recent order.
I agree though, weird things seem to be hard to come by... why are we still not restocked on toilet paper and paper towels? Those are generally made here. Why the sudden run on pet food? I know people that can't find milk but dairy farmers are dumping milk because the institutional buyers are out of the market. Beef is limited but producers are selling at record discounts. Weird stuff.
Farm XL + Farm Plus stack, 2 Sprouts, Harvest, Harvest 360 and Bounty x2 and Bounty Basic!
You can do it. In 2015, I made three totes, using 10-gallon Rubbermaid Totes. I used a pump that is a bit more than an aquarium pump. But they were the best greens and herbs totes I've ever seen. The first thing I grew was peppers, but supporting the plants was difficult.

Mike, THANK YOU for the encouragement!
I am so excited about having this new project to learn! I already have plenty of lights!
