I have to keep trimming this thing back to keep it out of the hood. Whoever said it was a one-foot plant may have been fibbing!
It is starting to flower, though.

That’s kind of a bummer. You invest so much time in a garden to find that the plant is not ideal for the hood.

I have really been neglecting this plant, but even so, I'm seeing actual peppers on it.
I'd like to see one good harvest from it, get those in a pickling jar, then let the plant go.
SIGH.
Just having such a hard time keeping up with all of these.

Well, I'm sure it would have worked out better if I'd paid more attention to it.
But, it's also in the row of 4 harvests that I want to shut down.
I think my current goal is to have the Farm Plus, two Extras and three Bounties planted and stick to that for the coming months.
One of the issues with Harvests is that I mix my nutes by the gallon, and a Harvest takes more than a half gallon and less than a full gallon, so it doesn't work out evenly. The Farm, I can just mix a 4.5 gallon bucket to fill both sides.

This has been giving me a few peppers for my hot dog dining pleasure, but it's the last of the row of 4 harvests that I want to clear off that counter to make room for the Farm. Thinking of killing it.

Sounds interesting. I just went through my pantry and found two jars of the Jalapeno M pickled peppers I canned in January 2015. I was surprised how firm they are after over three years. And they are quite hot. I don't remember them that hot. It's too bad I used up the pickled Bulgarian Carrot peppers. They were great on Pizza.
