I have not watched it (yet) but Irish Spring is banned from ever coming into my home. I am allergic to it.

We have been having nothing but rain and thunderstorms for the past several days. Over the weekend I went out to put some water in my EarthBoxes and saw a mound of carefully piled soil next to the edge of one of my raised garden beds. My beds are all surrounded with mulch, so fresh earth is very noticeable. Upon closer inspection I saw that a tunnel that my new critter family dug..CHIPMUNKS! I saw and heard them scraping along the fence and playing around.
So today for sure I am stuffing the hole with a bit of Irish Spring befire I end up playing Wack-a-Mole all summer!
The toms are large now and will be ripening soon, so I better get the rest up today around the toms.

I also have 2 new super duty sonic repellers which were gifted me last week. I got enough repellant items to scare away bears! Yet, I bet the rodents will be around still!

re : Irish Spring I can't speak of the toms because I have sonics over there. BUT...over by the fence in my containers, as well as the tunnel the chipmunks dug, no activity! Before I put about 1/8 chunk of a bar in between the containers, they would dig holes who knows what they were digging for..bugs, sponges..or just digging for the gratification of digging
But one day last week I found a hole where a Whopper marigold (they are tall and have big flower heads)was and the plant was no where to be seen..one of the darlings must have had a hankerin' for the taste of something yellow, I guess!
So far..no holes, no missing plants and the tunnel I shoved the soap in has remained closed.Over the weekend I will have to put more soap in because of terrential rains on the way.
Kudos to our Rick for finding and posting that helpful working tip!
That's what I like about this forum..there is ALWAYS something to learn from others. Thanks Admin Shawn for keeping the forum going.

Not at all, Rick, as far as I know, but it takes dedication to log on several times a day and not only reply to faithful members, but to deal with lurkers and pranksters behind the scenes as well.as well as care for a household, a dog that has to be walked, personal outdoor gardens and Ag machines while recovering from major surgeries over the past year. And let's not forget those notorious visits from the Dear Reaper that test one's mettle.
