It's been almost 3 months and three herbs n lettuce are not growing. I change water once a month and pour a cap full of liquid food once a week. It's a 3 pod and not sure what else can be done. Please advise. Right now they just have one main stalk with just a couple of leaves.

Hello and Welcome. You have been using your Aerogarden for three months? What machine, the Sprout? What herbs are you growing? You say you are feeding one capful a week? That is too much, you should be feeding once every TWO weeks. Can you post pictures. You can read how to post them here.

Looking at your picture it appears that the dill and lettuce seeds were closer to the top of the pods and the roots did not take a good hold to the sponge itself. Also, from what I have learned about lettuce and herbs is that lettuce takes a lot less nutrients then herbs. Also they all like cold/cooler water. As for the basil, did you prune it? It looks like you may have (hard to tell from the picture I am seeing). If so, you pruned it too early or too low. Although it is no help to you now, I believe I have pictures here somewhere (I would have to search it) that shows sets of shoots and where to trim. One good things about Aerogardens are that you can always plant and replant. We all have great success with some and then others may fail. You have no fails as they did grow, maybe just a few hiccups that can be corrected with new projects

Thank you for your prompt responses. Is there anything I can do now to make this better. After your msg, I am putting in a cap full of food once every two weeks and changing the water at room temperature every month. Is there anything else I can do to make them grow better?
Also, are there any alerts on this model for water or food, as I see some indicators but they never come up.
'Looking at your picture it appears that the dill and lettuce seeds were closer to the top of the pods and the roots did not take a good hold to the sponge itself. ' Yes I remember spotting the seed on the top, so we should push them way back when we put them in?
Please advise.

See answers in bold below:Thank you for your prompt responses. Is there anything I can do now to make this better. After your msg, I am putting in a cap full of food once every two weeks and changing the water at room temperature every month. Is there anything else I can do to make them grow better? As long as you keep the water on lettuce and herbs cool/cold and there is no direct heavy breeze on them they should do fine. But you must remember every plant can respond different depending on type and variety. Also, are there any alerts on this model for water or food, as I see some indicators but they never come up. There should be a small orange light on the front of the unit that will glow every two weeks. 'Looking at your picture it appears that the dill and lettuce seeds were closer to the top of the pods and the roots did not take a good hold to the sponge itself. ' Yes I remember spotting the seed on the top, so we should push them way back when we put them in? Before planting if you see seeds at the top or on top of the sponge and they can easily be moved then you can try pitting them in the pod hole. I would not do it after planting especially if roots have stated to take. I have never done this so please do with caution. Some plants say to plant seeds deep, other say shallow and some say on top. I have no clue what dill seeds should be. Please advise.

"There should be a small orange light on the front of the unit that will glow every two weeks. "
So, if I always saw it as a red light. So is my aero garden malfunctioning? Any suggestions on getting it to work or contact customer support who can fix it?
So just replacing the water every 4 weeks and putting a cap full of plant food every 2 weeks should be good right? Anything else I need to do?
One last thing, I see some white mold/fungus (https://www.reddit.com/r/aerogarden/comments/cll8ff/is_this_mold/) sort of thing in the pod, and read that hydrogen peroxide should be applied with q tip, can we use vinegar instead? Please

The light may be red and not orange. Is it on all the time? White fuzz is not harmful. There is a thread here. If it is different post a picture please.

nash , I would be afraid vinegar would burn and possibly kill the plant.

After you add the nutrients, you need to follow the instructions to inform the system you have added nutrients. It should change colors and reset to go off again in 14 days. I wish I could be more specific about how to reset the nutrient clock but I do not have that model.
