I never had a problem with mineral deposits on my black Bounty decks until I grew peppers -- and added CalMag.
My pepper Bounty had white calcium deposits around every hole, and they would not come off. I tried scrubbing with vinegar on a cloth, as recommended, without much luck.
But THEN I folded a hand towel to fit the deck, soaked the towel in vinegar, and left it a few hours. After that the deposits scrubbed off with a scrubby dish cloth and fingernails.
If that had not worked, I would have soaked them overnight with plastic wrap over the towel to keep it wet.
I don't know how well it would work with other deposits, but it definitely removes the calcium.

I have used Barkeepers friend Foam. It worked well with some elbow grease.

I have CLR but I did not see a difference. Then again I may not let it soak long enough on the deck.
