I came across this site which has a very useful tool for finding new plants to grow in your AeroGarden: sympathink.com/vegetables/It only gives estimates, so if something is barely above your max height, you might be able to find a cultivar that works for you! I'll definitely be playing around with it to find future DIY pod projects.

Oh wow, this is fun to use! Much easier than trying to find the heights of everything on each seed provider's website.

There's one HUGE mistake. They say that zuccini grows only 6" high!
If there is a zuccini that only grows 6" high and produces regular size fruit (or even miniature fruit), I want to know about it!

I think one has to figure things a different way and cannot just take it at face value, sher.
Zukes are vines and can be FEET tall/long, and the Zuke itself is usually more than 6"..there are also many different varieties of Zukes to consider.
As Error said, it only gives estimates.(I agree, and think zucchini is way off, though)
I was looking at the toms and some of those which say 24" I KNOW grow much taller IN THE AG. Plants always grow taller in the AG than in soil..at least that is what I have been learning in my growing journey. So one has to really read and ponder the chart, but it is a great starting place for ideas to tweak.

@cornne, I was being facetious about the miniature zuccini. I think I need to watch it, because I am afraid I offended one of our zuccini growing members with my hyperbole.

Have you heard of the Astia zucchini? I've been keeping an eye on it since it seems Aerogardenable

Astia is DEFINITELY one to keep in mind. I would try it in a minute, but unless a squash type is self pollinating, I chicken out. But ,YES! that is a 'find' to definitely try out in the AG!

The Astia sounds great! It is probably the only way I would ever grow summer squash because vine borers get my outdoor squash every time.
