No special reason why, but I clip above. Thank you! I clipped two today. That was how I harvested them last time as well, but I wasn't sure if it was the best way. Waiting turned out to be a blessing in disguise - the fuller pods turned out to be more delicious, I must have been harvesting them too early last time.

Added another 4ml of nutes. I plan to leave the rest of the pods on for harvesting seeds.

Some of the lower leaves have been dying back and I've been setting them aside for an experimental compost-like thing.

These peas are starting to dry out, which means I will be able to harvest the seeds soon.

All of the pea pods have begun to fade in colour and dry out, so I have clipped all three plants at the base of the stem and hung them upside down to dry.
While this project is technically not finished, the AeroGarden is free to be replanted in, so I will consider it done.

Here's my self-survey: Plant Grown: Tom Thumb Pea Grow Method: AeroGarden Sprout Time to Germinate: 9 days Time to First Harvest: 40 days (since germination) Time to Last Harvest: 63 days (since germination) Plant Spacing: 3 per Sprout (100% usage) Final Height: 8 inches Would I grow these again? Definitely! Lessons Learned: These peas could use a bit more nutes early on than I thought. Also, the water turning dark brown doesn't seem to harm the plant as long as there is no smell.
