This year has been unusual to say the least. When I was laid off, every penny had to be counted. And the heat.
My Condo is essentially a 2-bedroom apartment with a storage room in the basement. The past few years I used a portable A/C unit because my main unit was dead. This year the portable failed. I was paying over $6/day for very little relief. So I bought a new main unit. My immediate energy use dropped to $3/day. But I only had one AG running. Now I have three Farm 24 units, four Bounties and two Ultras running.
To my relief, I found the following. Besides my gardens, I have a smaller Refrigerator, a fairly powerful Lasko fan I use when home, a 40" TV, a desktop PC, 10 LED light bulbs and a few assorted small cooking appliances. Without the air on I am only using $2.75/day in electricity. Only $85/Month.
It's a good thing I don't have space for another Farm.
