The specs said over 3 feet. I figured I could do some prune magic. The plant still looks fabulous. Despite the pruning.

Yikes! Do the specs say that it would have been shorter or did you just try it as an experiment to see if it would work with trimming back? I was thinking the same thing

Right now, my Aji Lemon Drop plant is standing about 3 feet, having neatly grown around the hood to the Extra it's planted in. Over in the pepper pot, unrestrained by a hood, I have one that just reached 4 feet. But, I'm with mike. Keep it trimmed back and you can usually get something to go in the limited space.

How is the Roleadro light working?

I have three. The one in the living room doesn't have enough coverage for the three PowerGrowers, but the one over the Pepper Pot and the other one over Pepper Pot Deux are both working great.

I'll be touching base with you soon. I bought two of them, but they are still in the box. I'm thinking of taking two of my older Ultra CFL units and setting them back to back and hanging a single Roleadro unit over both to grow some of the taller pepper plants on.

Well, you just reminded me to order another one.
Also have more straps and hooks to hang them from the ceiling.

I turned off all of my gardens about ten days ago. I harvested the last of the two peppers that grew on this plant. The fact that there were no lights didn't stop this plant from spitting out a new pepper, even without giving it any water over that ten days.

I have heard of AG-ers who went on vacation and their plants were TOTALLY neglected, but when they returned they grew more abundantly than if they were very carefully doing what they were supposed to be doing for the same amount of time....go figure.

What I can't figure out is the lack of water.

I’ve often read that about outdoor grown tomatoes, that if you stress them at a certain point, they actually put out more fruit. Stress including less water. Maybe it’s true for a number of plant types.
