I had seeds from last year and keeping fingers crossed they will germinate.
Placed two seeds per pod. However I do not know what packet is what as I put both the white and red in the same base envelope. The template below might change LOL.. time will tell. I did place what I thought what what on each packet. As they grow I will be able to appropriately label in case I need to add a seed or two. I just hope they are indeed two different colors.

It will look lovey. I did outside raking and pulling up of more summer plants and only got 1/2 done(ran out of bags). The trees are still full!  My landscape guy's daughter passed away this week so he won;t be here until after the rains this week...nature will have to have her way..but the exercise felt SOOO good!  All that to say..my Faux project won;t get started until tomorrow.

I looked these up. I like the red ones. I think they would go well in the room I have my Celosia in right now. Have bookmarked for a future project.

I looked deep into each pod and there is some life. Just not enough to photograph.

All seeds have germinated (2 per pod) and now I just need to wait and see if the colors are what I thought they are

5 days since last update and not much. I THINK I can see colors but am not totally sure. And if I am then where I have the whites and reds placed are opposite

These look about the same. 21 days and not much growth. Kinda disappointing. I wonder if it is because they are last years seeds?

I have always grown them in the same Harvest. So maybe the lights are not strong? I have another Harvest. I will (if I can I will switch the machine out and see if that helps. If I can I will just switch the light out.

I switched out the base (light attached to it). Lets see if it grows better.

I notice the color is off..they are more yellow than green(maybe it is your camera). Something is unusual for sure. There is a difference in growth, though, so the different light may change things around. I can see red as well. I would keep it for another week if it were my project and see what happens if it were my project.
