Welcome! This post will serve to collect my conclusions on whether root vegetables can be grown in an AeroGarden or not, and if so, what type of AeroGarden is needed.

Carrot: Yes, any model although you will need a Bounty or taller if you want to grow them to their full size. Pick a variety that does not get too thick, or you risk it getting stuck in the pod.

Horseradish: ?
Jerusalem Artichoke: ?

Kohlrabi: Yes, any model although you will need a Bounty or taller if you want to grow them to their full size.

Radish: Yes, any model.

There is no such thing as too many AeroGardens. Nor can you have too many Kratky containers.
