Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum and would to introduce myself. I am the owner of a new hotel that will be opening early next year. As part of our restaurant offerings we are focusing on providing fresh “garden to table” greens and vegetables and locally caught seafood. To accomplish this we have purchased seven aerogardens in addition to our small traditional soil garden where we grow fruit and vegetables that would not fit the aerogarden farms. I would love to hear your thoughts on our current setup as well as suggestions what type of photos/videos we could create for our social media. We plan to grow peppers and tomatoes in the Farm XL and Farm Plus. Lettuce and Herbs will be grown in the Farm basics. Also, we will be growing flowers for our rooms and dining tables in the Farm Basic as well. All Farms are the 24 pod units. I am including some photos of our setup. We wanted our guests to be able to see what we are growing so we built a separate room as a display. We have installed a small air conditioning unit to help maintain the temperature since the room is south facing and we get a lot of natural sunlight our outside temperatures are pretty constant between 88-92 during the day and 78-84 at night. I look forward to your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks, Paul

That is a major project. I am wondering if it would be more to your advantage to contact the Aerogarden/MiracleGro promotions department and they would help you PROFESSIONALLY get things going in a decorative way and at the same time, no doubt, give you some deals and tips for your hotel seeing you are willing to showcase their projects, machines in decorative photos and as welcoming decor in the guestrooms??.
I know for a fact that companies give away merchandise to those who publicly showcase, promote and review their products. As you are planning on doing "garden to table" and floral arrangements for the rooms for a hotel, this would require MANY more machines such as the Farm XL. I really believe it would be worth your while to contact the company's promotions dept.

Hello Corinne,
Thank you for the valuable feedback. I will reach out to them again to see if they have any suggestions. I did reach out initially to see about a discount since I was buying so many but they did not talk about any type of promotions. At any rate the photos of the project are now up and working.

Very nice setup. I like the way there is the enclosure so people can see what you have growing.
It sounds like you know what you will grow and in what machines. As the plants start to grow and you harvest, you will get a feel as to when you need to prune and harvest. You will also see what you will want to stagger and placement in the different units.
I would take a look at the different member gardens to see what they are growing and the yields they produce. I know that you can grow a lot of herbs that produce for months and months. Me personally end after a couple to start new. But this is a personal preference. Your chef or whom ever will be doing the upkeep can make notes along the way. Just remember you may have some fails but the great thing is that they can always be restarted.
I also agree with everything @cornne said about contacting the company promo department.
