Has anyone tried and/or been successful grown Tomatillos in their AG?

ERR0R1755 grew Aunt Molly's ground cherries, which I believe is a tomatillo.
Thake a look at the last page of this thread before you decide to grow them. They are pretty unruly!

I believe that ground cherries (and other tomatillos) will do fine as long as you keep pruning them to stay within the light (maybe an inch off the sides of the deck).
Mine gave a lot of small fruit that still haven't ripened, and I believe that is because the plant was wasting so much energy trying to keep other branches alive, when they were outside the range of the light.

Thanks! Helpful! I may try them, someday. Fresh tomatillos can be hard to find in the PNW. But for now, I think I'll stick to the more traditional items and leave the known challenges for future time.
