I have an Aerogarden Bounty Classic that I haven’t used in a couple years. I plugged it in and checked for firmware updates, but it said there was none. It just seems weird that they haven’t updated anything in that time. Can anyone tell me what the current firmware/software version is?

Hello and welcome!
I do not have a Bounty Classic (anymore in hand). However I do have the newer version. I am guessing yours is wi-fi version?
If so I can check on that but I have never seen a firmware for that unit. The Farms yes.

Yes, it is the wi-fi version.
I can’t upload photos here apparently, but it does show Version: FW-V1.55 SW-V1.06

rabel1975, I have two of the older Bountys that I thought were Classics. But they do not have wifi or vacation mode, so I can't help.

I will have to pull out my Bounty but I only have the new version. I can go thru that. Just give me a day or two as I need to pull that unit out. Unless another member has one they can give assistance

Thank you! It's more of curiosity thing, I guess. Now I'm irritated with their tech support. I emailed them just to find the current firmware version. They responded, "Our wi-fi connected AeroGardens update automatically. The schedule and the version levels are proprietary. Thank you for your inquiry." That has got to be one of the most ridiculous things I've seen from their tech support. There shouldn't be any reason they can't tell people what the current firmware version is. I understand not wanting to give out the source code, but the version number?  ? |

Once a model is discontinued and all the bugs have been corrected with firmware updates, it isn't likely that the manufacturer will update the firmware to add features. Even so, just using the classic would get it to connect to the download site and update if one is available. I wouldn't worry about it.
