I trimmed these down quite a bit this morning. My waste basket is covered with leaves.

I knocked one of bigger peppers off while pruning, though. The one I like is just below the pepper pointing down in the center of the pic. It is pointed at the camera. It is the largest pepper.

I forgot about this pepper being in my briefcase until today. I ate it with a sausage, egg & cheese muffin. I like to take a bite of food, then a bite of the pepper. My first impression was that it tasted very green, not ripe. Then the heat hit. This is a VERY HOT PEPPER! The folks in the cafeteria had a good chuckle. Near habanero heat, and it wasn't even ripe yet. It will be interesting to taste a ripe one.

These are not pretty plants. But the peppers are there.

I agree with them not being nice looking. But I will say you have a lot of peppers on yours. I do not have as many. I wonder if it is due to the lamp outages of the Ultra vs Bounty?
Regardless yours is doing really well.

The other plant doesn't have many peppers, yet. But hopefully soon. I understand these have a sweet taste when ripe, despite the heat.

No, as a matter of fact, these peppers are smaller than they should be. I thought they would continue to grow to size, but that is not the case. These plants are flat out ugly. I guess I shouldn't complain. It's the only hot pepper plant with numerous peppers. The Hot Lemon and the Tobago Treasure peppers finally have buds.

I'm looking at two or three blossoms and an unhappy looking plant.
I guess this is what is to be expected of a plant bred in a Stalinist regime f45654

Yeah, Stalin killed over 20 million people through starvation. The folks in the Ukraine must really love that guy!
