I think they look neater. They will fill out again fast.
IMO, three tomatoes are too many to grow in a Bounty. I grow 2 max.
That could be impacting the growth of the Red Veranda.

The Golden Harvest roots aren't interfering with the Verandas, but the older GHs may be hogging the nutrients. I'd move the Verandas to a place of their own, because they were growing fast earlier, but all of my gardens are full. Poor things wil just have to make do!

A lot of my plants just have to make do with what space I can give them, too.

The little Red Veranda looks healthy, but was so far behind the other tomatoes, I moved it to my Rescue garden. We'll see how it does there. It's been moved a lot, so I hope the roots can take it.

The AG Golden Harvests and I are continuing to battle over the dense leaf canopy. I'll post a photo on another day. I'm very cross with the plants--although I've been pruning the tops to limit their height, they just respond by stretching up to become taller plants. There's definitely something to be said for letting the plants do their own thing, without pruning. The Golden Harvests have a lot of flowers, despite our war of wills.

Today I removed the Golden Harvest tomato shown on the right in the photo above, even though it had tomatoes on it. The GH tomato in the middle is branching out over the entire Bounty, and was crowding both the GH and the smaller Veranda Red to the left. In the future, I think that I'll grow no more than one GH at a time in a Bounty. All of my GH plants have gotten very large. All of the developing tomatoes you see are from the GH, though the VR has flowers (tiny compared to the GH flowers).

The Golden Harvest tomatoes have finally started to ripen. They are kinda huge, probably because of the CalMag+ and Koolbloom. The Red veranda on the left, which was started at least a week later, has tomatoes coming.

Now that the extra-large Golden Harvests are finally ripening, I find that they taste somewhat bitter. Can anyone suggest a reason for this? Could it be the result of Koolbloom and/or CalMag additions? Could it be caused by being on the plant for so long before ripening? Would it be something else entirely?

I don't know the cause for the bitterness, unless they are not ripe enough.
I have been grazing on my Veranda Reds. They are the best tasting tomaties I have ever grown in an Aerogarden. I hope yours are too!

campingcorgis, I don't know what the PPM was, because I recently did an R&R.

Yesterday (1/12/22) I terminated this garden, and started a greens garden in its place. The Golden Harvest and Red Veranda plants were producing tomatoes, but not a lot, and the tomatoes were taking forever to ripen.
