I hope your parents recover very soon and get back home. I bet it is scary for them and you. I hope you come back negative. Did you have masks on? Are you required to wear them at work? Jersey is so strict.
Your peppers look great and bet they will taste even better.

Take good care of yourself, mike. I got Omicron during my move and passed it on to my sister. She was one day behind me in symptoms. It seemed to come back every time we thought we were improving. I hope you escape all that. Best wishes. |

Do you take Vitamin D3? One uses a lot of D3 to heal. The VA starting sending it to DH about a year back.

Hopefully they'll recover swiftly and you'll manage to avoid it!
It seems like every workplace has different rules on how they handle it - my work states that if you have been around someone who tested positive, or if you have any symptoms (fever, cough, cold) then you have to stay home until you have two negative tests in a row (two days of testing negative).

mike, hopefully your parents will recover quickly! If you have COVID too, I hope you will have only mild symptoms. The Omicron variant is so infectious, it's really hard to avoid it.

Thank you. The pulled a liter of fluid from my Dad's lung today. He is breathing better. Mom is a little worse. My sister is with her. In a half hour I head over there to spell her.
I tested negative on the covid test. Much yet to do.

This is interesting. When I put these in to pickle, they really took many peppers to fill each jar. They weren't really sweet, either. They didn't have any heat, but not sweet.
Now they have pickled for 3-4 months and they have developed quite a sharp pickled flavor. I threw a bunch on a pizza I made for lunch. Still no heat, but a pronounced tart pickling flavor. I really like it.
