The plants on this Farm XL are not performing very well. It looks like the lowest the light will go is quite a bit higher than the Farm Pluses. Hmm... I've noticed that too.  |

24 ml Nutes, 10 ml CALiMAGic, 5 ml KoolBloom. Definite signs of phosphorus deficiency. They would have been fed 3 ml KoolBloom today anyway. I stepped that up to 5 ml. They should be good to go in a week. Assuming this is the case, that will seal the deal with the KoolBloom in my book.  |

I hate to say it, but the Farm XL is seriously underperforming the other gardens. These were planted the same time the Hot Banana peppers were planted.  |

I hate to say it, but the Farm XL is seriously underperforming the other gardens. These were planted the same time the Hot Banana peppers were planted. Do you have a theory? My 2 GAL gardens were side by side and a huge difference in output. I'm blaming seeds, but maybe I should not? |

It's hard to say. I had the Real Deal Peppers that turned out pretty well growing here, last. But, I had problems with edema on those at first, so I have no real answers.
What does bother me is the lights do not lower as far as the Farm Plus units do. The new Bounties hoods also seem a bit higher. I have no idea if there is any correlation.

Dense! They look like one of my cherry tomagoes grown in a Harvest. They are loaded with tomatoes, but are hidden so deep in the canopy that I have to dig for them!

My Sweet Heat is very dwarfed, but I think mine is due to it being too cold.

mike, the light on my new Farm 12 XL hangs 7-1/2 inches above the grow deck. This seems fairly comparable to my Farm Plus and Farm 12 Plus models (can't measure these right now), but it's much higher than the lowest light position on my old Harvest Elite. The newest Bounty Elites also have a lowest light position around 7-1/2 to 8 inches.

The Sweet Heat are a much smaller pepper plant. The Cherry peppers have given me problems from the start and have stayed small at 7". The last time I grew them, the plants were 18" to 24" in height. This pic shows the Ultra at pretty much full extension to grow them.  |

I am beginning to wonder if the heights are truly given on these plants. I am finding many of my plants are much lower then what is given this past year. In Prior years they were pretty true to form so I can not say it is that they are in an AG unit.
