campingcorgis, Back in 1971, I visited Seattle, and loved it, rain and all. Couldn't get over how tall the trees grew! When I told my hosts how beautiful the area was, they said, "Thanks, but don't move here!" It's clear that some things never change! I hope you don't move on a whim, because it's hard to imagine a lovelier place than your Pacific Northwest!

But it is too crowded right where we are...or getting there, fast! |

I am looking at houses in my home town and they are snatched up as soon as they come on the market -- at prices higher than I can afford.
And all the non-subsidized apartments have long waiting lists.
And everyone keeps moving to Florida and driving the house and rent prices even higher.
