The clay pebble is a great idea, lynnee. Here's to round radishes this time!
li wish my aoartment had room for more AGs, but I have about maxed out my growing space. There are so many things I want to try!

Day 13 for the radishes. The clay pebbles added to the pods have kept the developing radishes at the grow deck level. It looks like most of the radishes will be more cylindrical than globe-shaped. Several of the young plants benefited from wire trellis supports. I changed the pump cycle to always on (060/000) a few days ago. Probably should have done this sooner, because the radishes are supposed to be harvestable at 22 days. Added 12ml nutes at 14 days, without an R&R.

Day 21. Harvested 9 edible radishes. Missed the goal of growing all globe-shaped radishes, but these were shapelier than the previous crop. Two (#2 and #8) insisted on doing some growing in the dark beneath the deck.

lynnee, even grown in soil, you get some radishes that don't bulb out. I think your project is a great success!

They sure are radishes . How did they taste? They're mild radishes, but with a bite! The texture is solid, not even remotely mushy.
