Day 33. This is one of my very favorite colors in a flower! The background is bad for photos, but I needed the downstairs location for a new strawberry garden. Strawberries need to be watched; moss roses don't. Oh my goodness it's so pretty! I should get some of these!

Is there wind blowing on them or something maybe?

lynnee , they love hot temperatures. Well what do I know about this stuff? I was sure that heat was the problem!

Is there wind blowing on them or something maybe? Could be, because I have a gentle fan going at night.

Today there were multiple blooms! These are so beautiful, and I'd never have known about them if Sher hadn't planted some for one of the flower GALs. That's the second apricot bloom--the first one lasted only a day.

Beautiful Lynne. They will all start to bloom. As some die off others will follow. At least that is what happened with mine.

The Moss Rose Garden is over and done with, as of 6/1/22. The plants had a few buds left, but had grown very tall (almost to full Harvest height). They were messy, with leaves dropping whenever I touched the Harvest to refill the bowl.
The blossoms are so beautiful, I'll be growing them again. Next time I'll plant only 3 pods in a 6-pod AG. Biggest knock on moss rose in an AG is that the blooms fade after only 1 day. The colors are outstanding.
I'll post a collage of the blooms soon. I couldn't transplant the mature plants outdoors to use as ground cover, because they are toxic to cats and dogs.

I am glad you enjoyed them. I wonder why yours grew so tall. I grew Portulacas and they were the perfect size for the Harvest. Who knows....

I grew some that grew straight up into the Harvest lights and got weedy looking.
I know they are sun lovers. Maybe they just needed stronger lights? Or, if Shawn grew them successfully in a Harvest, maybe it was the seed vendor's selection of growers.

Sher , weedy looking is the perfect description for their appearance when I decided to end the garden. I think it's important to keep the light as low as possible. Anyway, here are the colors you get from the AG Moss Rose pod kit (pink, apricot, gold, fuchsia). I love them all.

They really are breathtaking, lynnee. Such amazing colors!
i grew then on my deck in Georgia. Out in the sun, the plants spread out into a flat rosette shape. If I remember correctly, each flower only lasted a short time, but they flowered so prolifically that there were always blooms on them.
