Here is my Hot Pepper Surprise last night before the lights went off. There is some leaf curl. I had only added 2 ml Mooch, I may add 1 more. We will see what this morning brings.

I put 3 ml in at 4 and 5 weeks, 5 ml per week after that.

I went a little more aggressive and cut at the red line. Nicely done. You’ll probably be very happy you did,

I removed the 4 larger leaves. They had yellowing spots on them AND they were getting dry. So I figured for the betterment of the plant and growing power I would remove them. Hopefully I did not do any harm. All the other leaves that are growing are healthy looking. Of course now it looks bare.

I vascillate on that decision, too, and like you I figure that the struggling leaves are just sucking energy, yet might not get better anyway so why keep them, Your younger leaves and new shoots are growing really nicely. Compare to your last picture 3 days ago, it’s quite a difference for 3 days. And now they’ll grow even faster without the competing unhealthy leaves. At least, that’s my best guess.

Ok I have a dilemma and do not know what it is or what it can be. My Hot Pepper Mystery pepper was looking green and great, I took a closer look just now and ALL the leaves even the newer ones are starting to get darker colors on them. Is this something to worry about? I wonder if it has to do with the variety of pepper? Should I terminate? Should I keep and watch it? It it due for Nutes and Mooch on Monday. HELP

FYI, I just did a complete dump, rinse and refill of the water. Did not add nutes yet. It best not mess up my GAL pepper either

Lastly if oyu think this needs to be terminated no problem, I can start a different pepper or grow herbs on this side.

I'm not sure here. It looks like it needs calcium and perhaps is a bit strong on the nutes. Or did you get this change after you added the mooch?

If it does not look any better tomorrow afternoon and/or no one has any ideas I will terminate this one. Only because it is in with my GAL. And I will start either a new pepper or herbs. But will wait until then.
