Oh no!! I just ran out sriracha yesterday too, I love that stuff. Hopefully Walmart will still have some for me when I go!!

Production is shut down until Labor Day. Dang!! Maybe I'll hunt down a copy-cat recipe for sriracha then, it can't be any more complex than any other hot sauce I've made. And it'll be a good use for some of the hot peppers I've got ripening up! We'll see how the shelves look at the store next time I force myself to go lol |

The reason I asked was because I was rather disappointed in the ones I grew last year. The ripe ones were very nice. Very sweet and fruity with a little heat. Very mild heat wise, though. The unripe green ones were much different. They did not taste at all like a green jalapeno. There was no heat at all, and a rather grassy unpleasant flavor. Just please keep that in mind. I tried posting a review online, and Park wouldn't even post my review.
I'd hate for you to be disappointed with that long wait.

mike, I'm glad I read that. I have Pot o peno seeds and planned for them to be my next project.
Can you recommend a good tasting pepper with mild heat, very prolific, that will fit in a Harvest? Or a Bounty if none will fit in a Harvest.

For the Harvest, the only one I would recommend would be the Sweet Heats. The most prolific pepper I grew was the NuMex Orange Spice jalapeno. This one's got a kick, though.  |

Thanks, mike . I have grown Sweet Heats before and love them. Wow! Those New Mex Orange Spice jalapenos are crazy prolific, but probably a bit spicy for me.
You are right, Shawn ! I just wondered if they had any competition in that size range.
i will order more seeds ASAP!

The bigger issue with the Harvest is it's 20w light. I don't like growing peppers on a 30w light.
