With some extra time on my hands today, I thought I'd give something a try. It may be a waste of time, and, may not work at all, but, I'm gonna give it a try. This worked well with my cilantro (coriander) seed, so, maybe..... just maybe..... it will work for Parsley and Thyme.
Wish me luck. I'll post updates in a few days if there is any sprouting going on..........
***note: I also have the parsley set up the same, but, the upload limits for this site did not allow me to post both pics

You're trying the paper towel in a plastic bag sprouting method? It works for most people. I've had mixed results with sprouting spinach that way. Good luck! 🍀 If things don't sprout in an AG, maybe it's your water that's to blame?  |

So, here's an update to a post I put up 1 week ago. (for some reason, it won't let me 'edit' the post to add more info)
I placed the seeds in wet paper towel, inside a ziploc bag. One week later, here is my Parsley. So far, I have 4 sprouts. The others look like they are trying to sprout, but, so far, have not broken the shell yet. I went ahead and placed these 4 in sponges in the AG. We'll see how they grow from here 
So far, the Thyme is just barely starting to sprout. Not quite enough yet to take a photo. Maybe in a day or two.
