But the plants do look like they are just fine, Mary. Mine are just turning a bright red. I must say that the variety of plant is a very 'busy' looking one for lack of a better term.

Opened windows never even crossed my mind. I'll be sure to not open the window near the peppers, although it's near but not next to them. Regardless, I don't want to take any chances.
