Will do. But it's also a possibility the taste won't bug me. I've got a fair tolerance for green stuff.

I'm getting close; my wheatgrass is 3 inches high tonight! So another inch or two and I can try juicing and then drinking this stuff.
I did see a suggestion somewhere for coping with the taste, and it was a bit weird, but maybe could work:
They did not specify whether it should be regular cinnamon or Ceylon cinnamon.

I hope you like it.
My next grain I want to try as a microgreen is Red Amaranth.

I hope you like it. My next grain I want to try as a microgreen is Red Amaranth. Like is a relative term! I found a seed that had started to mold, and I was afraid I'd lose the whole batch by continuing to grow, so even though it was barely over 3 inches, I juiced the tray today. Sorta kinda. Truth is that I hadn't planted enough seeds to fill the tray to start with, and the grass was not definitely not tall enough yet. Photo from last night (lettuce harvest coming up, an I've got 2 AG cherry tomatoes to go with):I didn't get much juice: 2 teaspoons worth. My juicer is a horizontal auger and a good one, but it needs more wheatgrass to work with! I think, if the tray had been full, and allowed to grow more, it might've made a 30ml shot, just. It was a very intense dark green! It was enough juice to determine that I don't hate the taste, but it is amazingly sweet and I tend not to be fond of that much sweet. There is definitely an aftertaste, the cinnamon trick did help, but it still lingers and tingles a bit on my tongue an hour later and I'm sure that would be worse with a larger dose. I'm not ruling out doing more, but I might, rather than try to do shots, simply incorporate it in one of my regular green juice toss-togethers. Presumably one would still get some benefit. I did want to start small, because as a child, I had grass allergies, so I wanted to see if I experience any sort of reaction. But so far, no issues. However, that was an exceedingly small start!

I want to try microgreens in the tray next, to see how well it works for that. I probably got the wheatgrass too moist, or it needed more airflow.
I do plan to try again, if for no better reason than to give sweet-tooth hubby a chance to taste it. He might like that massive hit of sweet better than I did. I know he'd be curious enough to try it, because he likes to try everything. And he's enjoyed all the green juices I've made, even ones that aren't very sweet and more savory.

That aftertaste was too much for me. So, I keep trying other things. This weeks project is Alfalfa, Broccoli, Clover and Radish seeds in a Mason jar.
Later this week I'm trying an idea I have for making homemade chicken salami from scratch. We'll see if it works before I go further. I was hoping to use some of the sage from my herb garden but it isn't ready yet.

I'm thinking it might not be as strong an aftertaste if I combine with things like cucumber, kale, tatsoi, lime, etc.... and possibly the sweetness may allow me to use less in the way of fruit to sweeten my green juice. But it might well add the aftertaste anyway.
