I decided to try some old seeds. I grew these in early 2015 on a Classic 7 AG with the extended arm kit. (That was a 24" telescoping arm that replaced the original 12" arm on the Classic units). This is the Round of Hungary Red Sweet Pepper. It is a round 2-3 inch pepper that resembles a small red pumpkin. The plant is 18" to 24" tall. (mine was 18") But this can get to 2 foot wide. I tried to grow two, but only had one viable plant, before. These peppers are very sweet. Last time, I stuffed them with cornbread stuffing, combined with slivered smokey links, mozzarela cheese and fresh basil, sage and thyme from the AG Herb kits I was growing then. They were delicious. I put these seeds in a damp paper towel today. I will transfer them to an Ultra on Monday or Tuesday.

Just getting started, folks. I still have five gardens to fill. The remaining Ultra will have Pepperoncini Peppers growing, soon. The four Bounties will have Biker Billy Jalapenos, Jalapeno M, Diablito and Hot Fish Peppers growing.

I LOVE this pepper. It is so sweet, and it’s shape is so whimsical. Alas I have been cursed with this seed. The first time I grew it in an AG and it got really sick with something. I next grew it outside, but about 1+ years later, and all the fruits were runts. Maybe the seed had gotten old by then. Maybe my seed packet wasn’t a very healthy batch to begin with. I know you’ve had no trouble growing these so I will happily watch your garden grow.

I grew these three years ago. They were on a CFL machine. I didn't get as many as I would have liked. I'm hoping the LED machine will produce more. But these are the same seeds I grew then. I guess we will see.

I waited way too long to transfer these seeds to a garden.

Well they sprouted and you know they are going to grow.

Try it anyway. (If you haven’t already tossed them). I’ve grown them after sprouting them pretty far like that and they were fine. The biggest risk is tearing the root if it grew into the paper towel.

These are coming in quickly. I had to steal labels here, too.

Added 8 ml Nutes at 14 days. These are growing quickly. I think they will overtake the Ukrainian pepper plant, soon.
