yes. I have them. they scare the birds away, and the squirrels get used to them.

I will be using pepper flakes this year. They have been digging out my onion and garlic this winter... I don't mind sharing, but they are getting a bit stingy!

I had one and the squirrels chewed/ate the plastic D: Felt like I could have gotten more use out of burning the money in the fireplace! I've since had a mated pair of Sharp-Shinned Hawks nest in my backyard and have been somewhat squirrel free, but I've also been song bird free as well, which is disappointing. I find bits and pieces of little bodies all over the yard and on my roof/in the gutters.
