Well, I started my new Bounty project with two pepper plants, one each of California Wonder Sweet Pepper and Tequila Sunrise. I put 3 seeds in each pod. I like the Bounty's fully automated settings. No having to stand by the wall plug at 4:59am to plug in at exactly 5:00am, so they all start and stop together. Very nice. I'll post pics as soon as I get germination that can be seen without a 10X magnifier. So Exciting!

Has anyone grown either of these peppers? These were all Burpee seeds, BTW.
I've been creating a cart and wish list on Reimer's and they have thousands to choose from. What a site!

They're a really old (1928 Burpee) Heirloom, so they're all "some kinda kin"

I have not, but the Tequila Sunrise sounds familiar as something someone has grown before in an AG.

Hopefully someone will mention if they've grown these.
Do you guys stick with the "germination" pump mode, or just run the pump 24/7? On my Extra, I ran the pump all the time for the tomatoes.

Germination is 2 weeks then it goes to 24/7 mode.

Yeah. I just wondered if you used the germination mode at all.

Yes, whenever I start a project it uses the germination mode in the large machines. If I add something else later, then it uses whatever mode is in use at the time.

We have liftoff! I see green in both pods! I'm so excited! It took a LOT less time than I thought it would!

That was fast! I'm not familiar with either variety, so I'll be following this

I was surprised too! It looks like the California Wonder has at least two, and the Tequila Sunrise has one so far.

There is still time for another one to grow in.

If I do only get one, I'll be happy if it's sturdy and healthy. Saves me from feeling guilty for murdering any.

So, two days later, I have all three of the California Wonder seeds germinated and sprouted, and still just the one Tequila Sunrise of three. Clearly, the germination rate of the CW is amazing.
