ladyjane, it looks like you recently did an R&R?
If so, then you might want to consider keeping a gallon container with the same concentration of nutrient that you've been using.
Normally this might cause a buildup of excess nutrients, but since you recently did an R&R, and since your garden might not be productive for very long, it might be the best way to proceed.
That said, you can also top off with a more dilute solution. Or plain water would be okay, too.

Today I picked the remaining small lettuce leaves because the growth seems to have come to a halt. I cleaned the harvest and will give it a rest for a while. We have the possibility of a hurricane come close to us or worse this coming week. Also I ordered the back up unit posted here from amazon for power failures.

I have not had a chance to read through many threads but I saw one asking what kinds of lettuce do well in an AG
we found two strains that we got from West Coast Seeds in British Columbia. I think the strains must be available in the USA. These did really well and did not take over the landscape ... at full size about 3 per AG seemed to work. The strains were - Tom Thumb - Little Gem

joe645, I place 2 seeds per pod and as they grow I do not thin them down. What type of lettuce you going to grow? |

Rhomaine, Iceberg and Giant Ceaser. I'm going to try to germinate and grow them in my large tote project as my AG Harvest is presently consumed by 2 cherry tomato plants.

Personnaly, my favorite lettuce in AG is Breen, its a mini red romaine  it have a nice little crunch and taste sweet |
