These are the plants I left in the starter forever.  I finally moved them. I decided to put them in with my cukes for now.  This one is the one in my pea garden. I didn’t realize I had a double.   |

I know it is nothing like it but it reminds me of Finocchio, Italian Fennel Bulb or Florence Fennel.
This is something we always had for Christmas Eve.

I know it is nothing like it but it reminds me of Finocchio, Italian Fennel Bulb or Florence Fennel. I agree, it does resemble a fennel bulb, with all fronds growing out of it. Maybe you should try growing some fennel, see how it does! |

Fennel is an above ground “bulb” right (so not really a bulb)?

I thought in person that this one got a little bigger, but in the pics it looks the same. Maybe I’ll be able to harvest and taste it soon.  |

I tossed all the old chives that were in this garden (5 old, fat pods) and moved these kohlrabi from the cuke garden to the lone parsley that was left after the chive purge. Gave it an R & R while I was at it.  |

What a lovely FRESH harvest, Mary! Kudos! Have you ever grown radishes inside in a window box or borrowed light? I never can seem to be successful in getting them to bulb.

No I’ve never grown them inside. In fact I’ve never grown radishes before now. They’re fun! I know I’m really behind, but these were taken 10 days ago.   (Edited to correct spelling.) |

I terminated the messy pea garden that was adjacent to and interfering with the kohlrabi garden.  And I moved the stunted twin kohlrabi from the pea garden (whose bigger sibling I already ate) into the main kohlrabi garden.   |
