I was looking for a dwarf paste tomato and found this one but I can't find how big it gets.
BUT, the description reads:
Dwarf "Zyska" tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) is a new variety intended for cultivation in the field.
Does anybody know what "intended for cultivation in the field" mean?
Is there something about it that would prohibit it from growing in an AG?

I am not sure but I would guess they mean it has moved from the test phase to open market. I honestly see no reason any tomato could not be grown hydroponically.

From their other listings it looks like they distinguish between tomatoes that do well in a field vs container. Since they say this is a dwarf and determinant variety it should do fine in hydroponics. May need to top it if it starts getting too tall, hard to say since they don’t include info on plant size.
