What are you all hoping to pick up this holiday season from Aerogarden?
Unfortunately, my annual bonus wasn't in this check, so I'm going to have to sit out Black Friday this year- at least for machines. With any luck, they'll run the sales long enough to get my bonus and snag another Farm or two.
Here's mine:
1) Seed starter for my remaining Sprout. I don't like starting up a Farm just for a seedling, but three spots aren't much space.
2) A couple packs of spacers, especially if I get more Farms. A large plant in a Farm uses a lot of them.
3) 1-2 Farm XLs. Alternatively, I wouldn't mind a regular Farm or two. The vertical space in the Plus is a waste for lettuce. I've got one stacking kit, but I get two Farms I'll need a second one of those as well.
I'd also like to see a good sale on the Park sponges. I believe several members have noted that the fact that they are less dense helps speed up the sprouting time on lettuce.

If I had to think about it, I would say I would like a New Bounty Elite in Platinum (non-wi-fi). Also, I would like is the Harvest Elite 360 in Platinum. No room for Farms and too much work for my back.

Not a bad idea. My only thought would be to make sure the hood is not too high that the LEDs will bother your eyes when laying in bed.

I've been back and forth on AGs in the bedroom- most of the standard cycles have the lights off for less than eight hours. With custom light settings it may not be bad. Also, consider that some people believe that the frequencies used in hydroponics are damaging for your eyes. Personally, I'm not sure how much of that is true (and my eyes suck anyway so not much to lose), but you may wish to investigate that before you make your decision. |

I have had night stand AG's for a long long time and think they are great. I had AG3's and SS6 which has a regular height and it does not bother my eyes at all. The hood has been at max height too.

My xmas list consists of 1. The new slim 2. Tomato seeds and 3. The pollinator 4. Maybe some more salad seeds. 👍

Christmas bonus? Never had one of those. :(
But, congrats.
What am I going to get myself for Christmas in AG Land? Probably nothing, because right now, I have far more AGs than I know what to do with and if I start using them all again, I'm going to find myself moving to Cleveland sooner than expected.
But I'm thinking of getting an XL for the condo in Cleveland, hooking up about four aerovoirs to keep them watered, and maybe asking a friend to look in on them for refills if I can't check in often enough.
Kind of tight on funds because of maintaining two residences and the fact that my pay increase this year was only .44% (yes, you read that right). Also finding it difficult to spend money with the uncertainty at work (our company screwed something up big-time, and as usual, the ones who'll end up paying for it are the ones who weren't in the position of making those stupid decisions in the first place).
That and I have this maddening habit of running up a lot of debt over the holidays, and I'm trying not to do that.
I think I'll have a happy Christmas without the purchase of new AGs, though, and looking forward to a new XL eventually is probably more fun than getting one now.

My daughter asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told her to get me the Harvest 360 Elite. I know she wont get it but there is a slight chance. I wanted to buy it myself but I did not in case that slight chance happens.

I got a separate set of teaspoons for the MaxiGro so I'm not measuring nutes with the same utensils I eat with, and some small funnels for filling things like lotion bottles to make it easier to get the powder into the mixing containers. |

I am kinda kicking myself in the back side that I did not get the 360 Elite for myself when it was at its best price. I really do not know if I am getting one or not. Then I saw (late from email) the Bounty was a Mystery Deal and missed that. I guess I am a Grinch this year for a reason
