We have had or are currently growing gardens that have not been seen (or at least to some of us) like the serri588 's Garlic and Blueberry bush as well as someones New Guinea Impatens.
What other things do you think we should experiment with?
I know I said bulbs which I will do in in the spring. Why Spring? Because if it does not work I can plant it outside.
So what other things can we think of to try?

I will be moving some furniture around in the new year. Once I do I will have more space for another machine. I have one not in use at the moment (Extra) and will be able to after the first of the year. Then I might try something different in that one. Time will tell but looking forward to seeing what others think they would like to try.

Mary is great at finding and trying..why, just look at her Kohlrabi(sp?) project! I am sure she has more ideas like that to suggest(I hope) And then there is the lovely Kale that nick is growing! I would love to know the name of that kale seed and also some other recommendations for kale suitable for the machines.
The kale came from seeds provided by Happy. I’m sure he can talk about their source.

The kale came from seeds provided by Happy. I’m sure he can talk about their source. I've had a lot of success with the Lacinto Kale from Park. At some point, I'd like to do the broccolini again, as well as another attempt at watermelon. I have cabbage and luffa gourds on order from Migardener.

I don't remember what variety of kale I had sent Nick. The reason it's doing so well is most likely due to Nick's green thumb and the brightness of the Farm lights. I had great success with my recent kale gardens ( aerogardenaddicts.com/post/14226/thread ) I wasn't as successful in older units with lower light levels. So kale seems to love bright light!

The snow pea seed I found (Snowbird by Burpee) I’m really liking. It’s just the right size for the AG. The first dwarf pea seed I found and experimented with was too small and far too low in production (those were called “Peas in a Pot”). These are also fairly fast. I’m definitely going to replant, and I’m actually thinking I’d like to have these growing throughout the year. Certainly during summer when they can’t be grown outside. I’m liking my kohlrabi, but it does take awhile. I’m going to experiment with harvesting some of the greens from it when they’re young and yet try not to kill the veggie at the same time. That way I get to enjoy the garden 2 ways. I am super excited about the mini cuke seed Corinne found (Mini Munch from Park?). Judging by her garden, the rate of production and size of the cukes appear to be just what I would like. Not too slow, yet not too much cuke at once. Edited to add: I’d also really like to try the broccolini and cabbage that serri is experimenting with.

I liked the Peas In A Pot. They were a nice looking plant too. Yes, I need to agree that they did not produce many peas.

I have seeds for an interesting one. Patio Baby Eggplant F1 from Park Seed. I will start those in January. I will also start up pac choi, basil and dill, then. Meanwhile, I am having a hard time deciding what to start on the Farm. Two of the plants will be the Maya Pepper. That is a 4" long x 3" Red Habanero that really intrigues me. I was going to grow Chiltepin peppers on the other side, but I don't need more of the searing heat varieties at this time. I may go with Park's Orangeside Hybrid pepper, but I can't find out how tall the plant is, yet. It has 4-6" orange sweet peppers that are supposedly very sweet. I honestly think I'll put these on an Ultra, though.
This morning, I ordered Zapotec Jalapeno, Orange Pepperoncini, Purple Jalapeno, Pumpkin Spice Jalapeno and Feher Ozon Paprika seeds from Jim Duffy. He's not all that prompt at getting seeds out quickly, though.

I prepare eggplant the same way I prepare anything that I used to fry. I don't fry foods anymore. The reason, my NuWave oven. I bake my foods by dipping the food in an eggwash consisting of 3 eggs and a splash of whole milk. Then I dip the meat (or eggplant) in panko bread crumbs that I season. The seasoning I use varies based on the dish. I will frequently use cayenne pepper to heat it up, but the real secret is the other seasonings I combine with the bread crumbs.
My favorite is True Lime brand Lime, Garlic and Cilantro. I go through a bottle a month. It can be found at Amazon at:
The other one is Tru Lime's sister True Orange Ginger seasoning:
Both of these seasonings have no salt. I used both on lunch, catfish fillets. I dipped them in blue cheese dressing. Yum!
BTW, both of these are fantastic on popcorn!
