Hi everyone. Aerogardens first timer. Just bought the Farm Plus and have the Salad kit. On one side of the farm I have 12 pods and am going to do all types of lettuce.
Question is, how many pods should I fill? Any spaces or fill them all (too much?) and do frequent small harvests?
Thanks

Many people that have Farms have used all the spots to grow lettuce. You may want to check out Nicks and Railles Garden Patches to see their projects growing

I do plant all 12 pods when I plant lettuce. The initial growth is great, but you will see some crowding that prevents some leaves from getting light. I haven't found that to be an issue because by the time that happens the plant has just about had it's full run anyway.
I'm considering cutting back how many seeds I add to custom pods, but that's an experiment that'll have to wait for 2019.

I let my lettuce get a bit bigger than most people here, so I sprout with 12 and then separate out into two sets of 6 after a month or so. Currently, I'm using Bounties for the adult lettuce, but I stick to that same rule- full until they start to crowd then split into separate machines.
